Troubleshoot Outlook Links Opening in Edge
Changing Default Browser in Outlook:
To allow Outlook to open hyperlinks in a browser other than the default system browser, follow these steps:
- Open Outlook.

- Scroll down to "File and browser preferences" and find "Open hyperlinks from Outlook in."

To set a default browser for the entire system, follow these steps:

- Click the "Set default" button to make it the default browser for all activities, including handling links from Outlook.
Turning Off Outlook Side Bar in Edge:
If you use Microsoft Edge but want to disable the Outlook Side Bar that appears when clicking a link in your email, use these steps:
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click on the three dots (...) in the upper-right corner to open the menu.
- Select "Settings."
- Under the "Sidebar" section, click on "Outlook."
- In the "App and notification settings" section, locate "Automatically open Outlook email context in the side pane."
- Toggle this option to "Off."
